Plum turns a folder — or a zip of one — into a live website on an address of its own. HTTPS is already set up, every version you publish is kept, and going back to one takes a single click.

Private beta. Nothing to install, nothing to configure.

How it works

Three steps. That is the whole product.

You bring the finished files. We take care of the address, the security certificate, and keeping the site online.

01

Upload

Drag a folder straight from your desktop, or upload a zip of one. Up to 256 MB at a time, which is a great many photographs.

02

Publish

Your site is live in seconds, and the version that was there before it is kept. Publish as often as you like — correcting a typo costs you nothing.

03

Share

You get an address of your own at name.plumsite.net, with HTTPS ready from the first visitor. Or point a domain you already own at it instead.

Features

Everything a static site needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Go back in one click

Every version of your site is kept. Published something broken? Return to the one that worked — it is live again before you have finished reading this.

Bring your own domain

Add a domain you own, follow the two records we show you, and the HTTPS certificate is set up and renewed from then on without you thinking about it again.

Publish from your pipeline

Ship a new version from GitHub Actions, or from anything else that can make a web request. Each site gets its own key, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Fix a typo from anywhere

Spotted a mistake and left your laptop at home? Edit, add or remove a file from the browser. It becomes a new version like any other, so you can still go back.

Switches, not config files

Tidy URLs, a 404 page of your own, redirects when something moves, and a password when a site is not for everyone. All of it in the panel, none of it a file you have to learn.

Quick, and stays quick

Nothing is assembled while a visitor waits. Your pages are finished before anyone asks for them, so they arrive as quickly as the connection allows.

Pricing

Priced by what you keep, not by how many people visit.

Visitors are included on every paid plan. You pay for the size of your sites, which is the part you decide.

FAQ

Questions worth asking first.

Can I run PHP, Node, or a database?

No. Plum hosts websites that are already finished — HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images — and nothing it hosts is ever run. If your site needs a server or a database behind it, this is not the right home for it.

Do I have to build my site here?

No. Build it however you already do — or write the HTML by hand — and send us the result. Nothing about your site ends up depending on our tooling, which also means nothing here can break it.

What happens to older versions?

They are kept, and you can return to any of them at any moment. Nobody ever catches your site mid-change: the new version appears complete or not at all. We hold the last 20 versions, or 90 days of them, whichever is the more generous.

How big can a site be?

Up to 256 MB per upload. What your plan counts is the storage across all your sites — and keeping your older versions around adds very little to it, so there is no reason to tidy them away.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on every paid plan. Add it, put the two records we show you at your registrar, and everything after that — including HTTPS — is handled for you.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your site goes offline, but your files stay with us for a grace period, so choosing a plan brings everything back exactly as you left it. Nothing disappears the moment the clock runs out.

Plum isn't open to everyone yet.

It's running, it's hosting real sites, and it's being opened up carefully. Leave your email and you'll hear from us when there's a door to walk through.

One email when it opens. Nothing else, and no sharing with anyone.
